alexa you cutie pie!

There is no doubt that alexa chung is a superstyler (my definition of a superstyler is someone who looks so good all the time but also looks like she/he has put minimum thought into how they dress or what accessories to throw on for the day, they also may sport slightly dishevelled hair, a mix of old and new things & textures and generally show us a new way of wearing a garment eg. serena from gossip girl, kate moss, actually most supermodels possess this skill) and Tadah alexa is one of these and now she has released a little bit of her goodness with her own line of clothing or at least will be soon. She has teamed up with madewell with 'alexa chung for madewell' for Spring 10 and wanted to bring a little bit of 'cute' back into the way we dress. hooray

I heard Florence & the Machines while i was driving just before and it reminded me of how amazing they were at St. Jeromes Laneway Festival a couple of weeks ago. Wow her voice is amazing, so clear, so strong and look at her outfit! other notable mentions were Whitely & Mumford & Sons blew me away

Strummer is my fave new label, ok so i might be a bit behind the times but have now found them and love them. These pics are from there AW Darjeeling collection out very very soon (i know this is extremely scary as it means that we soon have to say goodbye to our beloved summer and start layering up with the winter woolies) BUT strummer has the perfect pieces to do this said layering, leather skirts, hot oversized tees, oh and the boots!! divine! The Sydney design girls headed off to India (poor things) to get their inspiration for the range and it looks damn fine

my danny roberts prints arrived just in time for my bf's birthday (love a good "gift" that i want for myself) and they are now looking extremely fabulous in white frames with black mounting board on our hedgehog wall in our entry way. danny roberts from Igor&andre is such an amazing artist, his stuff never ceases to amaze me. I bought his chanel girls t-shirt a while back and think that he is just superbo, bf likes them too ;)

So I thought that with a sexy leather bound notebook & my new colourful sticks one day I will be able to draw like danny Roberts? I can only dream and draw and dream some more

Daria looking crisp and clean in UK Vogue's 'Indian Summer'. the shoot is in India, the sunnies are round and the elephant is beautiful. I was lucky enough to be on a shoot with elephants in Bali last year and it was so fabulous. The elephant was a true gentleman and the picks turned out great, not quite as good as Daria makes them but close enough
