Winter Hiatus

I had the best birthday weekend, it was sunny, perfectly warm, and I enjoyed too many dinner, brunch and lunch dates with friends and family. It was the birthday that kept on giving and I loved every spoilt second. These pics were taken yesterday on the way to another long lunch with some of my best friends. I am absolutely loving my new Karen Walker shades which were a birthday present. I pre ordered them about a month ago and they magically appeared in my mail box on my actual birthday, absolutely meant to be. I am also wearing this dress, State of Georgia vest, vintage boots and bag, YSL ring. I hope everyone had wonderful weekends.

Sunset Strolling

Happy Wednesday rascals! I hope the week is swimming along sweetly for you all. It is oh so windy in my neck of the woods and just quietly I cannot wait to see the sun shine just for a little bit sometime soon. Let's knit for a bit

 

I love seeing pictures of models backstage at fashion shows knitting, it is an artform that needs to be embraced and reinvented as there is absolutely nothing like a hand knitted jumper or cardigan. Some of the pieces in the 'Let's Knit' collection instore tomorrow night are hand knitted masterpieces and here are just a few of my favourites. It is here! So excited about our very first Frankie Sunshine lookbook. 'Winter Hearts' showcases pieces from both our new and vintage collections and was so much fun to make. The sun shone on the shoot day, everyone was relaxed and full of creative beans and it was such a fun collaboration. It could not have been done with out a few very special people. Lucia Pang the amazing photographer worked her extraordinary skills all day, our magical hair and makeup artist Jess Chapman was fabulous and of course the stunning model Issy weaving her magic. No stopping

Apologies for my lack of posts this week, I have been a little bit sick with the flu, but am bouncing back and feeling oh so much better. My mum came to the rescue with homemade chicken soup, special remedies, ginger tea, and flowers which helped in the recovery, Thanks Mum!
These pics were taken last weekend in Surry Hills on a night out for one of my best friends birthdays, which was oodles of fun, the next day was a perfect sunny Sydney day and I spent it trawling through Bondi Markets and celebrating another friends birthday at Hugo's in Manly, wow the pizza's were amazing as was the view. I am wearing Frankie Sunshine Vintage dress, faux fur vest I snavelled at a fashion swap and have been absolutely living in ever since, vintage belt and bag and Tony Bianco Heels. Lookbook out tomorrow, so excited! Happy weekend lovelies x

The Eclectica Collection

Super excited for the new Frankie Sunshine Vintage 'Eclectica' Collection to be hitting the store tonight at 7pm. Here are a few of my favourites. Ahh we have had another amazing sunshiney weekend which has been absolute bliss. This weekend we shot our very first Frankie Sunshine lookbook and I am over the moon with how it all went, I can't wait to share a little sneak peek with you this week and the real deal as soon as I can.
