When Sundays Fade

Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year over here in winterland. In other news it was cheaper to buy 3 packets of Tim Tams at the supermarket tonight than 1, so obviously I am a hell of a lot more richer in the Tim Tam stakes then pre - groceries and I will be living the Tim Tam dream for the next little while.
These were some casual coffee hunting snaps from Sunday. I am wearing this big warm amazement of a wrap by Fairground, Finders Keepers cut out top, Frankie Sunshine Vintage maxi dress, Covererse hi tops, Ksubi sunglasses. I hope everyones weeks have been beautiful so far, if you feel you need a pep I can highly reccommend the Tim Tams x

                             We were so extremely happy to be celebrating the forever love of a couple of our best friends on the weekend. Tim & Rhi are a perfect matching couple and celebrated their engagement on Saturday. Here are a couple of pics of the stunning bride to be from the fabulous shindig. Rhi was dressed by Frankie Sunshine in the May Aurora dress and looked so amazing and just check out those stunning heels! What a babe! And you should see the stunning ring...take your breath away material x

Vintage day

A super dooper amazing Frankie Sunshine Vintage collection I have been absolutely hanging to release. These dresses (and cullottes) are soooooo wonderful, I adore every single piece! Summer days

 

Yes yes I am a big believer in the saying 'cool kid wear lids' and did pop my helmet on straight after these pics were taken i promise, and I don't even mind about hat hair these days because of the joy of the ride. 

We rode to dinner (tapas my fave! I have actually just returned from a tapas feast right now actually) for a good friends birthday, hence the essentials in the basket (clutch, present, wine), yes it was on one of the heat wave days but you know while the wind is whooshing past you don't even feel the heat. 

This bike has brought me so many good times already and it's only Feb! Imagine the reports I will have by the end of the year. So good is this bike that 2 friends of mine have bought the exact same model and I think one more is almost sold, we nearly have the rainbow in bikes, cream, blue and red!

I am wearing a super great Frankie Sunshine Vintage dress that will be hitting the store next week along with lots and lots of other glorious goodies, pig brooch a gift from BF (who by the way is a little bit clever in the architectural field check his blog out here to see some of his work and inspirations as well as plenty of pretty pictures), ballet slippers from a dance store and YSl ring. Ooh nearly Friday Yay! I hope everyone has a great one x

Frankie Sunshine

I would like to share a little story about where the name Frankie Sunshine came from.
A long time ago I came across a breed of pig that only grows to the size of a small dog, a miniture pig. I instantly became absolutely positive that as soon as I owned my own home I would get myself a miniture piglet as my pet. Why? they are adorable, you can walk them just like a dog, they become your little friend without the fur, they come in lots and lots of different colours and well why not! This little piglet was to be named Frankie Sunshine and he or she was going to be my very best friend I was sure of it.
Anyway the time came and we found the perfect home, we got busy renovating and when our little palace was ready for one more I got talked into getting a puppy instead. An adorable puppy and one I would never swap for a cute as a button piglet now of course but I could not give my little puppy the name that was destined for a mini piglet of course so Zali Sunshine was named and when I had the brilliant idea of starting a blog to store all the inspiring things I came across the name Frankie Sunshine was fitting, as time went on and I developed my shop it was only natural that it was given the same name and so while I do not have a tiny pig sitting at my feet, I do have a blog that I love, a puppy I adore and I am still trying to convince the boy that there is room for one more.
